    My best and only Sika stag for 2024 so far shot last Sunday. Shot at a distance of 10m with Brno 243 and Remington 100 grain. Still trying to find that ellusive 8 pointer. 250691

    put a straight edge across your 2 scope bases and see if the front base is indeed higher.

    Definitely the front base is wrong for the rifle and is too high causing the rifle to shoot low. Take it of and replace it with the right one, a no 36, or fit a 20 MoA base. Job done. GPM.

    The Franchi horizon is higher in the front of the action than the back. I bet you've got the front mount on the rear and vice versa. Only possibly thing that could leave your scope pointing so high. ...
