About LMcNab
Biography:
Hi everyone, I have been around the chat for a while, just reading and piping up every now and again, but have recently seen it mentioned a couple of times that the introduction is significant in joining the community.
I'm a early 30's father of 3, farming in the south of the south. I've always been interested in hunting but its never made it far enough up the hobbie list for serious expeditions so mostly farm hunting for me so far. Due to no longer being up to my main sport, rugby, I'm keen to get into it more and I need something to get me off the farm once in a while.
My little brother was a serious hunter. Big missions up and down the laps on both coasts, a couple of fiordland trips and a stint guiding in the northern mountain forests of British Columbia.
I always anticipated he would drag my big ass out and show me some real nz hunting when he came home to farm with me.
We lost him before that plan came together. If anything, this has made me more determined now to make it happen, live some of the experiences that he lived and hopefully measure up to some of his legacy.

In my experience when looking for new kit, if Twinneedle make what you are looking for, then you should probably buy it from them.

There are reasons to salvage a whole carcass if possible. Leaving the muscles attached to the skeletal structure stops them from constricting to their shortest resting length, which results in a more...

I have occasionally seen disparaging comments made about the humble Howa 1500. There seem to be threads singing the praises of most of the other major brands so I thought I'd start one up for what...

I may be right, or I may be wrong but when it comes to choosing who I buy gear from, I make certain assumptions about the quality of the gear based on the behavior of the company. Price certainly can...

This thread has really surprised me, I have never had anything but bang flops from hitting the opening at the clavicle. Like, literally collapse where they stand. Just lucky so far maybe?
