Moa Hunter liked post by Makros On thread : What reputable caliper manufacturers are out there?
For acceptable accuracy and price I'd recommend "Igaging" products for measurement. I've got a few of these and they don't have the problems other cheaper sets have around chewing through batteries...

That seems fair mate. I'd be interested. Still keen to see your steaming rig. I've seen all sorts of setups and interested in what you found worked for you.

vulcannz liked post by Makros On thread : Niko Stirling Silver Crown scope - worth using on a .22?
Find this funny. I always used to use 4x scopes on .22s. I've since switched to 2-7x variable scopes, mostly for the less magnification in the lower end for up close possums etc. So 4x magnification...

Black powder charge weights are more of a question of how much would I like to compress this charge. If you use the same volume of black powder you used for a light projectile for a heavier...

No restriction at all. Both the above two posters are wrong. Slings and scopes do not meet the definition of part. If you don't believe me feel free to check with the police:...

20 Bore liked post by Makros On thread : Camo Kimber Hunter stock??
Sorry, important information. The tan one - I don't think the camo coating would last one trip through some terrible Whanganui regrowth like the standard one has. I will note though I have had...

Yup my Kimber hunter stock as been dragged through some terribly thick bush. Plenty of scratches but still looks just fine. It's a functional rifle and the stock takes the beating.
