As a teenager I had a go at shooting them on the water. Made the classic mistake of aiming at the mob rather than an individual duck. Outcome was the whole lot of them took off unscathed.

I was lucky and a sympathetic local shop allowed me to get the ammo sent directly to them so didn't need the paperwork . And then refused the dozen beer I offered them for being such good buggers !!
