I have has some miss fires with hornady and cci in a cz. A second strike elsewhere on the rim set them off. It would only be about 6 in over 500 rounds though.

The shot should be contained within the petals of the wad, the shot shouldn't contact the barrel unless the wad is too short for the charge

Get the DPT 223 one with only the end cap on forget the other baffles. As they're modular you can pretty much get what you want.

There was a guy x ring I think was his handle used to make 223 projectiles. They were excellent. I recall he put all the gear up for sale over $8k from memory. He was selling them for 30 or 40c each...

Getting 3 k with a 77 gr 223 is making the thing work. You also get more foot pounds at the muzzle and nearly 50% more at 300 with the grendel than the 223. It's clearly quite an efficient cartridge...

A big bullet, think 45 going slowly will cause minimal meat loss and still be lethal even if only dawdling along subsonically. It's shot placement that does it. Take out the front wheels....
