Micky Duck liked post by Marty Henry On thread : Old ammo here
Aussie manufactured cordite powered corrosive primed mk v11 .303 Perfect for shooting, just wash out the bore with hot water to get the salt out. Cordite does burn hotter than single based powders...

The 556 chamber dimension is the same the leade is longer, setting the projectile back fractionally should fix it

Preacher liked post by Marty Henry On thread : Single shot scope mounting
Baikals have a 12 mm dovetail, so any 22 mount will go on as low as possible otherwise you will need a riser. A red dot will avoid parallax issues and is good for 200 yds on deer pigs or goats....

Ridgeline is every bit as good without the name markup. Look at a torrent 2,got one last year for 150 on special. Way better than the stoney creek i also took south last august.

200m is awfully close for one of those isnt it. If i had one i would want a bit more distance, if the 300 win mag is good to 800, id want over a k for that probably 2

Where! A friend has a takedown 250/3000, a std 300 savage, and is looking for a 22. As to zq Lewis's suggestion of cutting the barrel to supress it. Shame on you sir unless its a recently made one...

A 170 flat nose 3030 tends to have quite a bit of authority, and doesnt seem to be lacking in the bang flop department out to 150 in my experience. Biggest thing Ive shot with mine was a scrub bull...
