    The Decibel scale is not linear its logarithmic so 101 db is 10 times louder than 100db if my maths is right. So the unsupressed rifle is 130% louder. A pretty impressive sound reduction.

    Howa, Weatherbys are made by them Ive had 2 and they were excellent but the 308 vangard was a tad heavy. Got a zastava now that is much nicer so consider them too.

    Damp rid calcium chloride is "more suckie" than silica gel. Make sure the bag is absolutly airtight or you will try and dry up the planet. Then just use that scope on fine days as if it got in once...

    Nikko sterling are actually very good for the money (cheap) the nighteaters especially so. Get one and you'll still have enough to buy a weeks worth of mince and instant noodles possibly two weeks.
