I have one in 7,62x39 superb as a scrub gun, ditched the rear sight and fitted an aperture and what do you know it's pretty good at long range too! For the money I don't see how they can be beaten.

47.8.gr of 2208 is all I can get in a case (lapua) 50 in a federal with a 150 gameking on top, havnt cronied any but in my remington best accuracy came with 45.5g (1.3 inch 5 round groups at 100m) so...

Agree totally with fastest isn't most accurate, one of the reasons we reload is accuracy, when you factor in the cost of equipment if you only shoot a little reloading isn't any cheaper shoot lots. ...

I like sierra gamekings in 150 gr, a simple cup n core that for me has always delivered. Have a bunch of the 165 boat tails as well bur never got round to using any yet. Both are readily available.

You should get two groups if the bedding is at fault, 1,3,and 5, and 2 and 4 but 1 inch off is not bad at all for a hunting rifle, just try to shoot a 1 inch group standing up!
