    It was a control feed action, the extractor encompasses most of the rim and won't pop over it the case needs to ride up under the extractor. I have a 9.3 and 3006 like that

    grandpamac Mitchell's in dvk have or at least did have a Winchester 257r complete with a pile of cases, projectiles, factory ammo and dies. It looked hardly to have been used if your still itching.

    It's actually almost a dead ringer for the 444 marlin case straight out of the blocks. I recall wingman making brass cases for it.
