I'd stick with cast lead projectiles I don't believe jacketed ones will give you any significant advantage in accuracy or impact.

The 22 250 is an exceptionally flexible cartridge that if you wish can be loaded down to .22 or up to full noise and everything in-between. A fast twist would be ideal.
