I think you will find that the 123gr is designed for 6.5 Grendel and velocities there of....2300-2400fps. I'd be opting for the 129gr for the bigger case cartridges.

For the reasons 300_BLK stated I can understand, LR events put you into big boys category. For a hunting rifle and the love of the 6.5mm, I see it has an appeal of being the new hot rod offering...

I think 3100fps would be achievable with the 135 Berger and a 24" barrel. My 260Imp (24.5" barrel) got to 3099 average with 129gr LRAB, pressure signs just showing.

Ejector stamp is visible but what you don't see is your primer pockets enlarging as well, these usually go hand in hand.
