This is one of those cartridges that barrel length has a reasonable effect on fps and is needed to be taken into account, if you really want to reach out there and touch. The 22in barrelled Howa is...

Yep, I agree. Will make a great intermediate gun and the Howa is off the shelf. There's a small choice of factory ammo, Hornady do a couple of different 123gr, the Amax & SST. If you do go with...

A 16x16x11.2 Drilling I bought at auction once years ago. Didn't get the chance to view properly before the bidding started and it turned out to be a pitted piece of wall jewellery. Sold it on way...

I built my 260Imp with the same thought in mind. I wouldn't be keen to use past 500m on game due to my limited current LR ability and it wouldn't sit with me ethically anyway out past that. Paper &...

I'd say 238ish DS for Pongo's animal at a guess :) Surprising number of spellers still attached to those palms so late in the season. They normally smash them up, the aggressive little buggars.

I've got those sticky spaghetti sticks and a small 12v compressor. I once patched up a rip in the side wall that took 3 pieces and it lasted for years. A mate has the same shit but has a push bike...

Blair at WoE used to repack down sleeping bags too, bloody handy if your old bag had lost its loft. Not sure if he still does now tho'. I've got a few of his garments, top quality stuff. He was...

Nice long tenon in front of the action. Get a few re-chambers with that as the throat burns away :)

Great caliber. Like some, I made mine different and went the 30 degree improved version to make the brass last longer & look sexier. Buy 260 brass like Lapua, bugger resizing it from 308.
