Best place to start...is at mates place who already has the gear.or fellow forum member...... dip your toes in,work out a load your rifle likes....you buy components and learn how to reload...THEN...

When hunting I pretty much never fire more than one round anyway. Maybe two rounds on the odd occasion. Not because I'm a good shot. But because they fuck off in a hurry. Lol.

VX6 is a huge jump up over the VX3. I would keep it simple and go a good old VX5 3-15x44 or Swaro Z5 3.5-18x44. A Swaro Z3 would probably fit the bill nicely too.
