Look up the gutless method of preparation. It's super clean and quick on a rabbit. It can also be applied to larger game animals. It may not suit you if shooting a large number of animals, but worth...

Don't forget the rimfire suppressors in your range. An over-barrel version would be a nice addition.

I would choose accurate ammunition over other considerations. I've never seen any small game walk away from a headshot with CCI Subsonic.

I did think about it when ordering a thermal recently after reading some of the comments on here, but I don't use a rangefinder much during daylight, so would imagine even less so at night. Also, the...

It is an issue of supply/demand. I just wish there was more appreciation of the game animals and fish that we have in the wider community.

Game fishing fever is in full swing. Boats backed up to the road from the boat ramp at Tutukaka. This is Northland, not Auckland, but you could be forgiven for thinking otherwise! Probably getting on...

Tuna have a higher body temperature than the water around them which is unusual for a fish. After a long fight, temperature increases even more, so ice is essential. Smaller tuna, we gut and remove...

I think a lot of fishermen are missing something and that is a decent knife with a serrated edge. Use it for cutting through skin and scales. However good you are, the filleting knife blade will come...
