The point is that you can have a second razor sharp blade at hand in the bush ready to go without having to carry a second knife. Just swap them out and sharpen when you get home.

I use homemade quad sticks for rabbit shooting. More stable than a tripod, although tripods are useful too, better in the sitting position. How much stuff do you want to carry around the hills?

I bought a 300BLK rifle with the intention of using it suppressed with subs for goats in dense bush. I don't reload, so have been using Hornady Sub-X rounds which are supposed to be designed for...

Trip to the farm. Not many rabbits about, but turkeys out of control! https://i.ibb.co/WnF09b3/People-Alex25.jpg https://i.ibb.co/X5qffyG/IMG-3088-2.jpg

Homekill lamb neck chops tonight. Slow cooked in olive oil with salt and then reverse seared in a sizzling hot pan. Almost as good as rib chops. This is rapidly becoming my favourite way of cooking...

Another Sub-X fail today. Shot a goat mid-neck at 5 metres. It went down, then got up and ran 50 metres. Huge blood trail, but I was lucky to find it in dense bush. Might as well take up bow hunting!
