Micky Duck liked post by MB On thread : Solo hunting; managing risk
I've been lost with a mate more times than solo. You both think the other guy knows where you are headed when in reality, neither has a clue. It doesn't have to be like that, but there's definitely...

I've had my most successful bush hunts in torrential rain and not just goats, deer too. Rain hides noise and scent. It can be miserable though. You either get wet with rain or sweat from wearing...

Yes, bought a rifle and suppressor from them recently and good service. I went first thing on a wet Sunday morning thinking it would be quiet and had to wait in line for 20 minutes. Glad business is...

CanuckHunterAB liked post by MB On thread : Back steaks
Hanging individual cuts dries them out too much. You could try wet aging. Vacuum pack and then leave in the fridge. I don't like the idea of it, especially for wild game, but it seems to work for...

.22LR goes well out of a very short barrel. An overall minimum legal length rifle is still quite a small package if you want to go down the barrel chopping route rather than buying a takedown rifle.

You could try contacting the manufacturer and ask if they will do it for you. DPT do it free of charge. Otherwise there is FSS Precision in Whangarei.
