Ben99w liked post by MB On thread : Drink system
I use Hydrapak 0.5L "bottles". The are collapsible and fit in pouches. As you drink the water, the bottle shrinks so they get smaller and there is no air in the bottle, so they are silent for...

I would choose accurate ammunition over other considerations. I've never seen any small game walk away from a headshot with CCI Subsonic.

I don't think it's a male/female thing, more related to height and weight. If you're very small, then obviously you will need a shorter stock and may be a bit more recoil intolerant. I don't have a...

In my very limited experience (one hunt!), they are about as clever/daft as goats. Not hard to stalk. They might trot off if they've had some hunting pressure, but I think you just got unlucky.

Just did a nice little walk close to home and stayed in Peach Cove DOC hut overnight. We don't have the stunning scenery of the South Island, but it was a nice way to spend a couple of days. Cast a...

Quad sticks will be far more stable than a bipod or tripod and are easy to make unless you are determined to spend money. There's a few threads already on the subject if you do a search. ...

I've seen mullet well upstream too, they can live in freshwater or at least brackish water. NIWA have recorded them around 150km upriver, so no surprises. Annoyingly, they do look like trout at...
