heres it in a nutshell 4% of shooters use sub gauges. (under 12g) southland fish and gayme wanted to restrict these 4% and make them suffer the poor performance of steel just like everyone else....

Can be a hassle with crowds but best option at present. Be prepared to be home late, as others hve said some people take a bloody long time to sort their rifles aand some love to take 22s and slow...

No real downsides for the ranges that you talk about.. Personally for me a 270 needs 24 inches of barrel to work well, its a bit blasty, kicks a bit in a light rifle, factory loads out of a 22...
