I used a BLR 308 for 25 odd years , loved it as most of my hunting is point and shoot so a BLR is ideal. There horrible trigger is the only thing that lets them down, but did not seem to be a problem...

there was a guy at auck arms fair a couple of weeks ago with a brand new 243 barrel for 300$. I would of bought it for wifes rifle to downsize cal but bought a little used ph 243 instead
