Well I've just sorted out my dream vintage single shot 7x57R and it's everything and more than I could hope for So 7x57R is a very good choice in a K95

My K95 is a 6.5x65R I always fancied a short K95 barrel in 8x57R But a 308 would be much more sensible Then I'm not known for doing sensible

Have done this, would recommend. You can get some crazy light dyneema rope (~5mm) and some tiny multiple pulley blocks at a yachting shop, the whole set-up is smaller than a can of beer and will hold...

As I mentioned in another thread - I shot a red spikey where the bullet passed through a beech tree sapling that was as round as a beer bottle, the bullet hit it dead centre and went right through...

I've done at least a dozen bore and lines Most with West epoxy Some with green retaining compound Prefer epoxy It want too be as close a fit as you can manage. Don't rely on the epoxy too...
