nothing wrong with subs out of the 7.62x39 except when you miss you have to say "ах дерьмо" instead of "ah shit" in regards to storing up brass I usually only load up between 20 and 30 at a time....

in my 300blk im using 190 subx I have a cast 151 load Iv built up for both my 308 and 300blk that I use interchangeably I still have a fair few boxes of subx and I used up all my loaded cast ones...

For some cartridges this is true but not the .308 family. There is enough difference to prevent , say a .260 chambering in a .243. The trouble spot is between .270 and 7mm where the difference is...

I thought it was the other way round, i.e. lengths were different to prevent chambering larger calibres in small chambers. I much rather fire a 243 round in a 308 rifle than vice-versa!
