Micky Duck liked post by Marty Henry On thread : Help - stuck bolt
I don't own a savage but friends do and they are excellent rifles. The floating bolt head design is supposed to ensure better locking by permitting the locking head to "wobble" slightly and...

Micky Duck liked post by hotbarrels On thread : 6.5 grendel for hunting
I think the 6.5G is ideal for the Howa Mini, if you already have a 7.62x39. It’s a slightly depowered Creedmoor in terms of ballistics and by far the most versatile cartridge for that length action...

I think that means the Green river is more expensive, cost doesn't always imply quality.

Greetings All, I am a member of both Hastings (Superanuant) and Taupo (Associate) NZDA. I live just out of Hastings but joined Taupo as an Affilliate after the Roys Hill Range closed in the late...

Thats what I have used. Although only half a dozen shots so far. I looked up big zig zags, and found a shop in town that supplies cheech n chong with theirs.

Micky Duck when I first started with suppressors and subsonic I would do adhoc testing shooting into a 2 liter icecream container full of sand. Winchester subs made nice pretty little mushrooms. I...

Greetings Micky Duck, I appear to have re created some .22 Savage Hi Power loads in my .223. Using the Speer 70 grain soft point and 23 grains of AR2206H (all that would fit in the S&B cases)...

Micky Duck liked post by Marty Henry On thread : Help - stuck bolt
If they use a bolt design similar to savage or the omark with a floating bolt head it could be possible the cross pin has bent or snappedwhich would be more difficult to rectify.

Yep; don’t beat the bolt handle and taking it to a gunsmith is sensible. As it seems the bolt will lift, and if you want to have a go yourself, things I’d try are (1) remove the trigger and bolt...

Lee case length guages aren't over accurate with their spec anyway. I had 3 .243 guages that were 15thou different in length. I just used the closest to spec and shortened the shortest for the 6mmCM.

Not in this house, for kids who spend all day on their devices they know F all! Even the 17 yr old couldn't work out to get spoken directions on an iphone you had to turn the volume up above zero!

Use a VPN to New Zealand. You should be good from there. If you don't know how to get/set up a VPN see your nearest teenager.
