I would be trying to remove the shooter variables as much as possible presuming you are trying to test the rifle and load. But by all means zero as you will shoot it.

I suggest remo e the bipod and then support the rie front forend and rear on sandbags then try again.

Common in northern end of Tauranga hbr too. We used to lose line to them this time of year when they sought rays in the shallows. Biggest fright was when one tried to eat the leg of the outboard.

This. If a scope loses zero (confirm not mounts) then it's either into the bin or back to the factory for a service before being sold on.
