I’ve done it. Will post the shot in a min. It’s hard with the new three lenses iPhone as usual one of the lenses’s is out side of the bino lenses so the phone then wants to do it’s own...

+1 on the binos... do this quite often when I don't take the real camera with me. Agree with Micky Duckcan be a right pain to get it all lined up, guess that's why they invented the phone scope......

Jaco, stug and sixtyten are correct. Jaco because he already does it this way, stug because he understands the forces acting on the action by the action screws, and sixtyten because you need clearance...

I have been assembling components to load for this rifle over the last few days. I ordered 50 210gr cast projectiles for a good price from Shooternz, and they showed up very quickly and look good....

Yes, it had 13 points and would have been a cracker, the other was 9. Mind you lots will get to enjoy early summer fat venison. Gotta pay the carry out crew.

Thing is Tahr probably shoots more deer in a year than most folks on here would shoot in a lifetime :D Pillow cases are good (avoid plastic bags) Baling twine (or similar) is handy for tying of...

Never chronied it sorry. I consider the 9.3 a short range cartridge even though it's obviously capable of more. 200 yards tops for me, it's about making a statement on big things at the other end...

I think Mooseman has a good load for it in .270? As I recall the velocity and accuracy was exceptional. Later: Found it. https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co.nz/f10/more-270-win-loads-37401/...

Micky Duck liked post by Moa Hunter On thread : More 270 Win Loads
Yes I have tried it and like it. It is easier to load than 2213 with even velocity increases in 'lock step' with increases in powder charge until max. In 21" barrel 270 59.3 gr gives me 3000 fps with...

mawzer308 I used data for the AR 2213 SC loads. Superformance is next on the burn rate chart after AR 2213 SC so use 2213 SC max loads as a guide. Start lower and work up to your desired. safe load.
