Mines got a 20 in barrel because its a hunting rifle. used 100 g tsx's at 3300 fps for a few years now and very happy with the way they kill.

They are a good fit to aren't they hotbarrels... I have been surprised more people aren't aware of them. I even had 2 of my local gun shops call me and ask where I got mine as they had customers who...

I have purchased a pack of small rifle primers from my local trusted suppliers. "WILSONS HUNTING AND OUTDOORS Wanganui (without an "H") :>) which seem to be the nearest size to the "used"...

Micky Duck liked post by TLB On thread : 223 on deer
Basics have been covered on this thread already but just thought I would reiterate the fact that a .223 for red deer is not really a 300 to 400 yard cartridge. Virtually no energy at that range and...

Stick with 222, easy as. Should shoot 55's, may very well shoot 60/63's. If you want some to try, let me know, Im pretty sure I have a few here you can have to try.

.223...... hawk spitsh (as in clearing throat) ......we need a emoji to cover that! If as much time and effort had been put into the .222 as has the Nato round we would all still be using it.

Drilling out the primer pocket for shotgun primers works well did it to a .22 Hornet and shot air rifle pellets with it would be ok in a .380 plenty loud enough
