Mines got a 20 in barrel because its a hunting rifle. used 100 g tsx's at 3300 fps for a few years now and very happy with the way they kill.

Stick with 222, easy as. Should shoot 55's, may very well shoot 60/63's. If you want some to try, let me know, Im pretty sure I have a few here you can have to try.

Drilling out the primer pocket for shotgun primers works well did it to a .22 Hornet and shot air rifle pellets with it would be ok in a .380 plenty loud enough
