I've just started using the 70gn flat base hp in my howa .243. Absolute lasers. Love em. Seems this rifle just cannot stabilise any of the heavier boat tails. Im using IMR4831 but moved on to H414....

I shoot the 69 targex with awesome results in a T3 varmint 1-8. Originally using 2206h but now BM2, only shot a few reds with it and they were all head shots so can’t comment on how the projectiles...

The Sharp Shooter is a great book. The chapters on killing shots on deer should be required reading today. I don't know how many deer Matt shot in his skin hunting days but it must have been heaps....
