121357 121358 121359 Well as some of you might have noticed I been upgrading a bit of gear and putting it all on a bit of a diet, Sako's turn for a birthday. Can't wait to get out and...

My thoughts on the original post are that thermals do have a place. They are not a magic bullet and do have downfalls. They do a job, and whether that fits with the shooter or not that is a call for...

Facebook is groaning with the amount of deer shot in spot lights and using thermals. Its likely that more deer are shot at night nowadays than in daylight. I don't mind either, but I don't like...

Micky Duck liked post by Marty Henry On thread : So how much difference does the primer make?
Short answer it wont make any difference a long as they are std or match primers. Magnum primers are actually less brisant ( the technical term for the detonation characteristics of an explosive)...

Am not sure how others do it but have worked out that priming before you put powder in saves a lot of mess.:XD:

The older I have got the more important thermals have become for me. I really feel the cold nowadays so wouldn't be without them. I still prefer Merino.

Here goes!! Thermal gear does not sit well with me, but I haven't decided why. It is just a gut reaction, and I usually trust my gut. I don't think we need to lobby to take it out of shops, same as...

Now that we are talking head shots. This was not a diffucult shot at 50 meters with the rifle on the window sill. Private land. Hollow point .243. 121314
