I bought my first Sako 222 about two years ago and it has become one of my favorite coyote rifles, 52gr Speer FB HP over Benchmark. 106260

I have a CZ 455 in .17 HMR which has been fantastic on bunnies but wanted something a bit bigger but not too big so I had to think what to do. I have a T3 .223 which is a great rifle and has shot...

I havent gone into my load development much on this thread and that was for a couple of reasons, the first being that I was rushing to get this barrel finished for this hunting trip and the other...

Another option to consider is going slow but not subsonic, the rounds I fired were still supersonic but lots quieter than "normal" 308 rounds, and would be quieter still with a suppressor. A 151gr...

It went very well.. took some longer range goats too. 200 to 600 meter shots all were instant drop on the spots apart from one goat that I hit a little far back at 330 meters and required a follow up...

To encourage them to be members, why encourage a rift between Joe Plod and Joe Public? Did you charge them double in your pub?

I think that is for a few reasons, they are not 100% certain that the guy they got is the perp from last week (though very likely) and they are suspecting that he was not alone so there is a serious...

They get discounted fees at ASC, and at least one of our top trainers offers free one-to-one training. On one induction course I took, 5 of the 7 attending were police.

I started with a single stage O frame about 25 years ago - and it’s still what I use now. I load for five calibres but usually only one at a time and 10-50 rounds. The single stage press doesn’t...

Same as u I just do hunting loads. I just use an old Lyman spartan single stage and slowly make up ammo. Generally prep brass in big lots (which for me is about 100 cases). And load ammo as I need...

You won't get any lead fouling with cast bullets at subsonic velocity, most people can get good enough accuracy for head shots at 50 metres I would not bother with the Lehigh bullets they recommend...

I fired 15 of the cast 151gr projectiles on Sunday, muzzle velocity ranging from 1130 to 1300 fps, 1:12 twist 308, all made nice round holes at 50m.

I shot a few deer using the same 151gr cast hollow points a couple of weeks ago. Shot placement is critically key. Shoot them in the head and hit the side, jaw snout many supersonic rounds will kill...

I use 151gn cast with 7.8 of trailboss behind them and they group around an inch at 100 yards. Not being very fussy about my barrel cleaning, apart from a boresnake every few shots, my rifle will...
