Off to try out a Quatromax muzzle brake today to see where it shoots compared to the suppressor. Have had a few Nurofen and hobbling so just a rifle day today. With regard to gloves I don’t have...

Have hunted once up the Jollie. Was gifted a chopper ride in - spectacular, for a mid Winter hunt. Fabulous country, saw heaps of Tahr, was too slow getting a shot at a decent bull. Laughed at my...

Its what you do to bloody a young north Islander. Those north westerlies sure make a man feel small in the shooting department.

Nice valley alright, more of a summer spot though, and be careful going for an afternoon walk up there with SmokeyJason, you end up past second creek and don't get home till 1am.:D

If you read the 270/4064 article he suggests that 4064 doesn't quite act the same in the 270. He couldn't quite explain it, bit it seemed to act like the burn rate differed in the cade than what it...

H4831 or 2213 is good in the .370. Often shows a big lesson pressure. Max loads are 58.5 with a 150 and 60 gns with a 130. I’ve been up to 63/63 where you have a long magazine and long throat. ...

I'm not sure what the problem is here. If the vels are near reasonable, the bigger issue is accuracy which trumps velocity every time. What size groups are you getting? As for the loads giving a...

Greetings, What about the N160? Load data from Vihta Vouri on their site lists a start of 51.5 grains and a max of 58 grains for 3,083 fps with the 130 grain Remington projectile in the .270. It...

I have run 150g sst 56gr h4831 with large magnum rifle primers. Av 2730 fps Started at 53gr and work my way up in .5grs at a time. 150s ssts are a different beast to the 130 imo. Trying the 145...

If you haven’t gone too far with the load development, I’d suggest trying the 140 grainers. The SSTs have a rep for blowing up, but I found the heavier-for-calibre variety to be good. Loading...

I'll have it written down somewhere but as above superformance gave me 3120fps out of a 22" and the 130gr ssts. From memory reloder 26 wasn't too far off. 2208 will likely be underwhelming. Adi...

Not profoundly different to any of the calibres you have listed above, if you shoot heavier than 150gn unsuppressed you start to notice, but 150gn (and under) suppressed is quite comfortable to shoot.
