My son n laws father got a sako 25-06 none suppressed.It shakes the ground when you are standing near it being fired.i know you gota have ear protection on when its fired.Its bloody loud.

I have a 25-06, have shot it suppressed and unsuppressed - definitely had more grumbling from hunting mates if it's fired un suppressed! Love the cartridge. Does need a decent barrel length though.

Most of people go for the shoulder/ grease shots with 223 at 300 or so meters. Now you all put to shame with 800 m head shots on roos. I need to dust off the 223 and start practicing.
