Problem is the stainless bergara single shot weighs nearly half a kilo more than the tikka, not arguing it is shorter though.

By looking at the photo, the differences for 2.0 and 1.0 are - 1.0 fluted barrel similar to superlite - 2.0 D18 steel The weight seems about the same.

The name alone is going to trigger someone, but whatever! Picked one up this weekend. Bit more information for those that are interested - .308 - 16" standard profile factory barrel -...

I've used both and the win 150 power point is awesome as a bush hunting load. Buy three packets, sight your rifle to be bang in st 50 meters and go hunting and shoot stuff in the bush until you run...

Brilliant, thanks for all the info. That all makes sense to me. I’ll slug the bore and start piecing it together from there. I’ll be sure to be in touch at some point! There are a number of black...

Black powder is very little problem in a Winchester 92 chambered in .44-40. Just pour some water down the bore after shooting and wipe it out with a couple of patches and then an oiled patch - and...

Not much difference in quality between them, warehouse ones not quite as good. Okuma you can get new rod sections so shouldn't cost as much if you need a new tip. 10 years warranty on all...

Quite a few Cowboy action shooters use 44 40 so track down one of those weirdos (tongue in cheek, I know a few of them).

Dies, .427" lead projectiles (NOT .429" as in other .44's), and cases are all fairly readily available. The M92 is made strong enough to use with smokeless loads. You are correct with the Saddle...
