As above, more barrels have probably been ruined by over cleaning. Just dry patch and then two oiled ones is enough

Depends on your chamber but have made plenty of 6.5x55 cases and 8x57 cases out of 30/06 cases and in military rifles they never needed neck turning. 8x57 cases were resized and cut off with RCBS...

Up close at 26m the 45-70 can group like a .22lr and they're both prone to being pushed about by the wind out past 100m. But that's half the fun I reckon 246122 246123

Dont be afraid to load heavier projectiles and drop back the powder. You can easily push a powdercoated 300gn cast projectile to 2000ft/s but seriously.. zero reason to imo. I'm currently sitting...

I've shot a few hinds over the last bit with the 80gr targex. 250-420m. Would say they're not as effective as the 80 ELDM at those ranges. Continue to be impressed with the ELDM. 245422245423
