    its a .270w you do not need to over think it..... chammy arent a tough animal.....450 yards isnt a huge distance and one would assume/hope he will be dialing up and twiddlin n fiddlin out past...

    people have been shooting animals out to that range for over a century with the 7x57 which for all intents and purposes is the same as the 7mm/08 .... if you are happy with how your 7mm/08 is...

    well thats interesting......the history of a rifle is a funny thing,some of us value the history a rifle may have had...there are quite a few .30/06 BSA OR PARKER HALE and even the odd winchester pop...
