.270 is closer to 7mm than what a 7mm or .284 is .270 is 6.858 millimetres .284 is 7.2136 millimetres Buy a .270 if your a true 7mm fan :)

stay with the 270 wsm, easier to find components for, kills same as the 7mms, it basically is a 7mm by another name..... will kill everything in NZ out to 600 at the least :)
