I agree with your thinking whanahuia. Farming has never been an easy lifestyle, but it surely has its challenges now with all the red tape and compliance that comes with it. I'm hoping a change...

Pretty much agree. Except for the Carbon clown bit. From what I have seen these people had the foresight to see an opportunity and have or will do very well out of it. Good on them! They started...

The problem with your hammer is that some dick head has tried to open the action lever while the hammer was on full cock, this breaks the web at the back and elongates the hole. The fix is fairly...

Scope update was a muck around as above. I have recanted it now and will take another look, but my local range(Kaitoke) only goes to 200yds, so have very limited ability to get out to distance. ...

If you are "going all around" the target at increased range, go back to paper and shoot a decent group at each range. Assess each group at each range for patterns of impact - looking to isolate...

Out of interest, the Pecar 4x81 had a objective lens diameter of 36mm. The 81 was the luminosity figure derived from 9 squared (9x9) therefore 4x9 = 36.

I bought mine in 1969, still in use and has never had a problem with water or anything else and it has had a fairly hard life. One thing to be aware of is the tube diameter which is 26 mm - not a lot...
