Good mate of mine uses a dab of very visible colour nail polish on ring screws and bases. Bit like the assembly marks left on vehicles or fuel pumps. It is very visible if they have come loose but...

I have seen to many occasions where people have bought me rifles that are behaving erratically. First thing rip scope of and check bases as it needs to be rezeroed any way. More often than not...

I think a lot of the problem with missing when using a semi is the fact you have so many rounds, when you are using an over and under you know you only have 2 shots so you make them count. I...

There's a saying that only a rich man can afford a cheap riflescope. When gear fails at the worst possible moment, the price can be extreme - in some cases it can even cost you your life. Based...

PITA for sure - though to be thorough and sure - I'd start over with the seating testing... cant be left 2nd guessing then, and you can then graph your results and this will indicate where ya...

look I could be wrong but coming from a target background I was always taught if one has fliers up and out to left or right such as those first two -it can be a breathing problem - fliers up and down...

OK, I know you didn't ask this, but lets get it straight about cartridges. The 270 and 3006 are superb deer cartridges, specially if you're over 80kg. The 308, not so much. It's satisfactory but...

I still reckon it's hard to go past the Howa's for value for money new rifles. I picked up a used .308 Howa Lightweight for $599 last year from the local sports shop. The original owner had bought it...

Oh, that's silly. Man Buns and Latte go together. 7mm-08 is a great thing and hits near as hard as a .308. For my money allocate more budget to the centrefire and good glass. Howa or Tikka both...
