+2 for the victory knives. I have 5 now including that 4" drop point hunter. For another $30 you can also get a very well made leather sheath. They take an edge easily and hold it well. Not so sure...

I dont believe theres any need for gas checks under around 15-1600 fps, gas check bullets shoot as well without the gas check as flat base do.
