Tikka rifles are pretty soulless, but they do the job well.

30 years ago, 4x32 was better than adequate on a hunting rifle, and 6x - 10x were used on sniper rifles... How our collective eyesight seems to has faded!

I had the same problem with my dog - Izzie. I followed all the theories on here of bits of wood clapped together when eating - negative experience and went off food. Subsonic .22 and it was even...

my advise is that your dog will associate the gun with the bad bang and you need to build that back up without any noise. If possible without scaring neighbours bring the gun out when you feed the...

Hang on You want to shoot unsupressed to a max of 350. And no further? Give the man a 6.5x55 or 25-06

If you can only have one rifle for NZ hunting then the .308W is the best all-rounder preferably with the 1:10 twist rate. My humble opinion but my personal favourite is the mighty 7x57.

In my opinion the best caliber is the one your mates shoot. That way if you ever run out of ammo you can "borrow" some from them [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G525F using Tapatalk
