You can shoot a rabbit at 850 yards with a 2-10 x scope? How about a 4-12 z3 or 2.4-12 z5 swaro for the new rifle.

I used a Border collie/huntaway x as a pig dog. It looked like a pure Border, with similar traits. It was fine with a rifle, but like any dog, you have to be careful getting it used to rifle shots. I...

I was very lucky, my heading/staffy cross bitch used to do all the above and then some. As well as pigs (which she was very good at). Having said that, she came to me as an adult, hard hunting...

Heading dogs and huntaways have a big work drive and will work until they drop (“run themselves into the ground” is the frequent term), which is good but you have to make sure they don’t overdo it.

Run a couple of lines around the boat Ryan about a foot to a foot and a half off the deck. Then attach some small coloured streamers to this. Like the ones you get in party poppers. Works on...

I've a bunch of them, they are quite social and tend to hang about. But yes, their insistence on food is indeed as you described. My kids enjoy making the big drakes take off down to the ponds, as...

The new woodshed is a particular highlight. Been getting a few complaints about the colour but I had no say in it. I was just there to whack the paint on. I think it doesn’t look too bad actually....
