That was kind of the point of my post, it may have came across wrong. What I have found is you will gain about 50fps maybe a little more. But if you work your load in winter you may strike pressure...

Common with 22Wmr and also 22lr worst in semis as the action opens while still pressure in the barrel blowing the unburnt stuff backwards. The supressor won't be influencing it. It's suprisingly...

yes its powder.....my old remington single shot used to get a build up like that then it would ignite and black face would occur...not humourous at all. running action wet will stop it igniting...

They should be around 1400 to 1500fps. A reduced load of 17 gr should be closer to the speed of sound but may produce a bit of unburnt powder due to less pressure. Have you tried the old std recipe...

45grns of AR2208 with 400grn cast goes well....reading ADI data its going to be top end of the bottom tier pressure wise. not overly loud but having muzzle 30'' from the ears must help somewhat....

I suspect if you were to scale everything up properly to drop the muzzle pressure to the same level, the big bore would still be louder. The exit is still like 0.2 square inches on a 50cal hole vs...

Did you chrono them? They did 1142 average from my 16.5" so not subsonic. The powder is slow to help cycle naughty black guns, so there's more muzzle pressure than you'll get by loading them with a...

Not all 22 magnums are poor shooters - though this also was my belief. Few years back I tested a Weihrauch HW 60 J in 22WMR and it was a superb shooter - popped just three groups after sighting in...
