Thanks - that's a nice way of thinking. A 6x42 might be a good solution. There are a couple of beauty euro 6x's for sale in aussie just now. A 6x Leupy would work too.

Goats are so numerous that any billy can simply be tipped over and tipped down the bank. Had a mate with angora goats on his farm. They cottoned onto the fact the deer were fed grain during the...

A MOST IMPORTANT point you raise. If they fail under charge, they do so quite spectacularly, which i why I always place my charger in the metal kitchen sink and add a solid oven tray as a loose cover.

Err, yes. Indeed TM has fake listings everywhere (or rather listings for fake shit) The giveaway is if a 'shop' lists selling 18650's either way too cheap (proper quality ones come at $25-$35ish...

Exactly, it's a deer gun so what's the big deal about a 200yd zero? We're not trying to head shoot sparrows. With a 200yd zero, my 3.5-18 gets to ~725yds on my 280AI and that'll do me.

I use stainless dentist tools to get in there. I got mine by asking a dentist for used tools being binned after use. They dispose of them regularly.
