    I hear what you say and agree with you in the most part... deer definitely would seem to be in larger numbers these days than Moa were otherwise why would they be extinct... but do we know for sure...

    I measure inside the extractor groove with a blade micrometer. Don't have any belted mags so cannot comment on them. Be careful though you can draw incorrect pressure conclusions with this method....

    Sounds like the scope doesn't have enough elavation adjustment to be able to zero with the 20 moa base. Ie if the scope had 50 moa total elavation adjustment. Thats 25 down from middle and 25 moa...
