I work on the slaughter board killing cows , most of the guys & gals that have been there a while don't bother getting them hollow ground , I reckon its probably 50/50 to those using the stones or...

Keep shot strings slow and deliberate allowing time for the barrel to cool between shots. Pencil barrels heat up rapidly and start to disperse shots. These aren't range rifles they are designed...

This is exactly what I have done with mine. Bipods are a pita to shoot well with lightweight rifles anyway. Surprising how well I can shoot out to 400ish even just with a 6 power

I don't plan on using a bipod on mine. Having a bipod, and all the other stuff hanging off it like we usually do kind of defeats the point of a light handy rifle. I didn't buy a light gun so I can...

There will be plenty of opinions, which means there’s no absolutely one right answer. One opinion is effectively stated by ‘The Real Gunsmith’ on YouTube, titled ‘bench resting’ or somesuch. I also...

Firm grip on the fore end, is my go to. But I’d same for ultralight or standard weight stocks, so maybe just me. Brake or suppressor will help with muzzle jump, but brake design (radial vs side...

Suitability for steeling depends on the knife steel. Softer steels are fine, harder modern steels you will just ruin the edge by steeling. For the modern steels use either a strop or...

Mohawk660 also something I don’t often see mentioned when it comes to sharpening knifes is a steel , steeling your knife correctly will keep a razor like edge on it , get a fine or super fine steel &...

I have an NZ made electric dehydrator. I just cut the figs into relatively thin portions and spread them out on the trays. I can't remember how long they took to dry last time. I have read that...

If you lived at the North Pole you'd stand vertically. At the South Pole you'd be upside down. But you live in between... thus you are horizontal.

Yup; it's done a lot in Asia. I've also seen people make a fake small island in their pond with a solar light on it. The moths are attracted and a fair percentage end up in the drink; fish food

You guys.... I'm impressed. Pity I don't have chooks. Its fantastic that you fool the flies into breeding, yet they will not be contributing to a growth in the fly population. Nice video...

I find that hanging bucket inside a rubbish bin works best as that way the chooks get all the maggots. Any that drop out during the night wriggle away to pupate :) I find that a hare or possum is...

There is a organic insecticide called Entrust that is very good on caterpillars and Syllids if you want to go that way.
