    I think the 270 is far better than a 300 m rifle. Take for example the 145 gr ELDX it’s BC is .536 which isn’t the greatest but it ain’t to shabby, I have these going at 3050 fps av which makes them...

    Most my hunting life I have had a 270 Win, at present a Tikka T3, the calibre has performed well. Accurate , hard hitting , not to bad on recoil make it a good all rounder. Are there better…….. yes...

    I have read that cordite is more corrosive than powder as well as corrosive primers I would go for the XHP.

    She’s a deadly calibre the 22 250. I don’t use mine enough , the last good shoot was down south on the wallabies, it sure as hell sorted them out.

    I am getting 3050 fps with my Tikka 270 22 inch barrel not 2960 fps in the example so that would improve the reading somewhat.
