About Mr Browning
Biography:
Bought up in Central Otago shooting bunnies since 12 with my Dads single shot bolt-action Winchester. Bought a BL22 when I got into pest control. Now I live in Christchurch as a small business owner and still manage to get out onto a permission inland from Christchurch and enjoy plugging away at hares and rabbits when I can to help with fitness and keep the eye in. Recently increased my armory with a Ruger American .17hmr and came onto this site seeking assistance in sighting the scope in. Met a great bloke who helped me out and now am really enjoying the discussion and people of this board. Thank you, if I can help anyone out I will try.
Location:
Christchurch
Interests:

Occupation:
Owner of small IT company.

1 centerfire to do it all? 308. Decent hunting ammo is cheap as through belmont, you can get soft shooting loads, subs, big longs, whatever. Every brand of rifle chambers for it. etc etc.

As has been said, a plane jane 308 will see you right. Unless you specifically want something a bit unique then there are options there too. But maybe not the ammo choice.
