Having experimented with bedding and floating a variety of 22 makes I would not bother trying this on your model 60. Results were random with bedding for myself and gunsmith mate - sometimes...

Little marlin 22LRs accurate with microgroove barrels - all under 0.5" at 50m - and the heavy barrel variants may do a little better. Think also about Savage heavy barrel 22s. CZ/Brno always good...
