    We do ours to 15 or 16" - but we seldom use suppressors. Easy to chop them and it usually improves accuracy a tad with improved crowning.

    Your cleaning method is pretty good, but I would do the Marlin action differently. Strip the action from stock, detach spring setup from receiver, then after removing bolt from receiver clean bolt...
