Tough season in the Wairarapa. The high country is still pretty bleak. The deer are starting to poke around on the lower country but some of them are still in winter condition.

Nice one. Springs here in our region,. all areas new growth and deer sign on a number of flats and grass clearings. Saw plenty of sign on weekend, just couldnt find a deer after a 6 hour hike.
