   I have used a Trijicon 1-8 as my main hunting scope for a couple of years now-I like it a lot. its heavier than the z6 1-6 I had before but the extra power helps, as does being able to dial.

   Have a look at the Swarovski z8 epic glass 42 metre field of view at 100 metres very nice to use and very light 18 oz for a 30mm tube. Watch for one second hand come up now and again for good prices

    I run a vx3i 1.5-5 on my bush gun and its great. Super light and quick on target. If I was doing it again I probably go with the 2-7 for little bit more on those longer shots.
