Another up vote for the southern lite packs from down south. I don't get out much more than 3-4 back country hunts a year. Last one a few weeks back all 4 wheels and head of a stag came home with me....

I just carry one of those flexible bottles with the filter built in. Whenever I cross a stream fill it up and drink it all down. If extra thirsty fill it up again and chuck it down my top....
